Anyone else have a problem with the "after market" window cranks and
interior door handles. They dont seen to engage, are loose and basically
dont bite the splines the way my old and tattered ones do. Any suggestions other than returning to the old cranks?
These were bought from OPG as a matching set.
    Thanks

I bought a replacement window crank at a local auto parts store and had similar results. Since then I ordered a set from Year One for about $9 each and they work fine.

Measure the ID on the old ones and new ones...probably a small difference in the diameters.

Bad repros. I just tried a new source and they are nice. Both available without parts number and with part number. I'll check on the price. (Mainly it is the depth that prevents the clip from setting properly).

I bought some perfect looking repros at the swap meet a few months ago. However, the slots where the c-clips go are too far towards the edge, causing them to be loose and not engage.

With the right dremmel, they could be re-slotted... just haven't done so yet.
