Just broke a roller on the quarter window of my '72 Lesabre convertible. I know I can buy replacement rollers, but I was wondering about other window hardware. It'd be nice to replace the guides and even the regulator (think it might be bent) while I'm in there. Are there any hardware kits available? Also, any good sources for window sweeps and rubber? My Buick has factory power windows. -Scott
Scott for you car it might be a tough call on some of that stuff. You may need to find used or maybe try a Chevy site under Impala stuff. I bet most of the stuff is the same.
Any idea if this guide would work? Search for OER-K846 on summitracing.com. I'm not allowed to post the link since I have less than 10 posts on this forum . I've only been able to find them for Camaro's so far, but it looks like the right thing. Hard to know what to search for. On a related note, what do you guys like to use for window track lube? I've sprayed some lithium grease in there, but it didn't seem to help much. -Scott
OPGI has window hardware and stuff. I just ordered a set of rollers for my back quarter glass on a skylark coupe.
Just checked with OPGI and they don't have any LeSabre parts . Going to take some measurements on the window bracket I have and see if I can find one that matches. -Scott
