ou: Hi there !! Im new on this site, but i think perhaps someone out there can help me with this problem ! I am a lucky owner of a Skylark convertible-65 with 355" wildcat engine and a ST 300 trans bucket seats,columnshift, power windows/seat,AM-radio,remote/trishieldmirror,tilt,PS/PB,and some more options. I have owned this car since 1977 and this year i gave the car a new paint-job and rechomed the bumpers. It turned out real nice ! Now to my problem! I thought that it would be nice to change all the rubber on the car, so I ordered all seals for the doors, pillars and trunk and so on . The problems started when I got the windowfeltkit !! It was from Re-pops and it didnt matched my stainless mouldings on top of the doors and under the quarter-windows. I sent these back to the shop and told them that I could not use them on my car. I expained that they should just be black and must fit on my mouldings !! Now was my car painted (March-05) so it was frustrating that I could not finish the work. After 2 !! months came another set, this time from P.U.I. and these was all black, as was right, but also lacked the rubbingblocks that is on the originals. Does anybody know if it is made windowfelts for the skylark convertibles 64/65 that fits the models with the decorating mouldings ?? Soon is this summer gone and I am still not ready with my "lark" !
