Hello, I put in a new windshield with the antenna, Now i need to install the antenna lead,, has anyone done this conversion and where exactly do I need too drill to mount this?? Any help appreciated
Very tough to get pics at this stage, I thought all I needed was a standard extension. They won't work. I purchased a bulk head type of connection for the antenna. Apparently, this is what the factory used. The connection on the windshield is a male socket style connector to the bulk head style connector. I had the original fender antenna, wanted a sleeker look
On the Riv it was simply a hole through the cowl into the car behind the radio. One screw held it in place and then used sealer to waterproof
