Hi, I just welded and leaded in my windshield cowl and want to know wh*t to seal the molding clip screws? I have asked around and saw butyl, form a gasket and considering GMS silicone but worried it will affect the windshield sealant Any ideas? Thanks Jim
I was told to use to dip the screw in seam sealer before screwing it in. Are you just screwing the clips to the channel, or did you find some of the mystery screw in pin studs? If you found the screw in pin studs, where did you get them?
