This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

usually you can unbolt and unplug the bulkhead connector that is near the brake booster, pop out the old ignition wire and put in a new or good used one. then put the connector back together. then remove your old dist and all its wiring (dont forget to remove the wire that hooks to the "I" terminal on the starter solenoid).
install your new dist correctly timed , wires, plugs and plug the new wire in.

If i remember correctly, you shouldnt have to up[grade and wires inside the car because the wiring inside the 1973 cars at the bulkhead already the same gauge as your new underhood wire(a peek under the dash can verify that). if thats true, you are pretty much done ...... unless you have installed a tach in the electra.

What I'm wondering about is if the wiring is the same length between the cars. I know the big cars have alot of room around the engine that the smaller cars don't. I'm figuring the big cars have a slightly longer wiring harness to make up the difference :Do No:
