I'm new here -- obviously -- but I do like the older Buicks! And I'm in search of one... some 20 years or so ago I sold my beautiful 1966 Skylark GS convertible. It was in pretty decent condition -- some rust, and not restored, but it ran well (sold it because my kids were turning into teenagers, and there was no way they could drive that beast safely!). And I'd sort of like to know what ever happened to it; it could have been restored, it could have been junked. It was sold to a fellow who's name I forget, but he was from California and he sent for it with a covered transporter. I do remember that! Any suggestions on how I might find out? You could start with a post in the "Wet Behind The Ears" section and introduce yourself and then post some pics of the car your looking for. We have lots of west coast members and its possible they could help you locate your car. Oh and Welcome to the board!
Find someone(cop or such) that can do a vin search nationally!! I think someone here has a friend that can? Todd
