    Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement wood grain A/C, Radio dash panel for a 1970 Buick Wildcat? I've search allover the net and called around.... No luck. Am I spinning my wheels on this one? If I can't replace it, can someone give me some restoration advice, it's in bad shape. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As far as buying it I am not sure. But if you have a steady hand, you can purchase wood veneer for home depot or lowes and make it yourself. I am actually in the process of doing all of my "wood grain" in the land yacht. Will post pics soon

Is the dash the same as the other big cars from 68-70? OPGI has a kit for the 69 Riv that should work or at least parts of it. My heater/ AC controls are different. Making your own out of the veneer is a great idea but my problem would be to get the lettering right and it not being back lit.

Thanks guys for the info. I'm probably going to check OPGI and look at what they offer for the Rivera first, but if that doesnt work, I guess maybe I'll give lowes or Home Depot a try. Your right, I was thinking the same thing about the back lighting. I guess I could live with it if I had to have no back light. Hell I'm sure it would look a lot better than what it does now. It just throws the whole look off. It pretty bad. Thanks for the tips guys I'll keep you posted as I make progress.
