I would doubt it. However that said there have been numbers of instances where non conforming parts were put on a car cause thats what they had.
My September built GS from the Flint assembly plant had a 1970 radio in it. In 1970 they did not have the letters BUICK on the push buttons. That said the seatbelts are dated 1969...so the seller is correct often what was left is what was used. Take the 0F15 dated Stage 1 distributors used in 1971/72 cars.
