Boiler House talk! My neck of the woods!
Although as an operator I get to sit in the air conditioned control room!

I lost 4 pounds yesterday in 9 hours. after 3 hours home, 3 pounds came back Guess 4 tacos and a mixed drink weigh more than I thought.

Yea, I have one of those on the third floor mezzanine 106-108 outside the room and 76 inside the room. Have a small fridge full of drinks and an air mattress for those all-nighters when the plant does shutdowns for maint or repairs (don't tell anyone because no one will climb all the stairs so only the boss and I know).

I have to change clothes at lunch break everyday.,too. It was 104 at quitting time today (4pm). We're setting grades on proposed parking lot, not one speck of shade....

Come to the oil fields. (Carlsbad NM) 100-105 is average high for July and August and there is some humidity. Beastly.

I'm not gonna complain any more after reading what ya'll are going through . over 100 in SW Oklahoma the last few weeks working in a warehouse . open doors for air flow which there is zero of . I go outside in the sun to stop sweating and if im in the warehouse doing tickets on the computer its 10 mins tops before im literally dripping in sweat and all clothes sticking to me . at least I have a shaded carport for the Buick to stop the interior getting messed up
