    Hello Everyone.
I was surfing the net the other day and couldn't believe my eyes when I stumbled onto this COOL website.
I've been and still am a Buick maniac for 26 years now.
My first car was a 1969 Skylark. I really wanted to buy a 1971 Riviera, but thanks for the advice from my Dad at the time. He said I would never afford to put gas in it. Boy was he right. But I did show him.
I'm the proud owner three Buicks now.
One is a Burnish Copper 1972 GS350 Convertible. (See my link to Buicks.net)

    http://www.buicks.net/show_and_shine/Bert/

    A 1970 Riviera GS.
Total stripped and in the process of putting it back to its Original B14 Silver Mist.

And another 1970 Riviera - Sandpiper Beige.
All original and just needs a paint job.

I have over 20 years of Buick stuff. From books, manuals, brochures, to parts.
Please contact me if you have any questions or information. I will more than happy to help any Buick Lover.
    Thank you for your time.

    Bert

Nice GS, but I'm more of a full-size man myself,
so I really would like to see some photos of the Rivieras :TU:

If you don't have them onlne, feel free to mail them to me and I'll be happy to show them in this thread.

    Mail to: buickriviera@gmail.com

I took the liberty of creating a little moving avatar of the photos from your GS:

If you like it: save it to your computer and upload it at your User CP
(button is on the top left of this screen)

    Click on: Edit Avatar
At the bottom of the next screen: Check the Use Custom Avatar box.
And upload the avatar at Upload an Avatar From Your Computer: by using the Browse button.

    Hello out there,
I stumbled onto this site quite by accident and am thrilled to find other Buick enthusiasts. My membership is about 2 days old, so this is all new to me. I saw a request by a fellow Riv admirer, so here's a few shots of my baby before I got the Pennsylvania tags.
By the way, if anyone knows where I can find a glove box insert for this thing, please let me know! Thanks!

    Very Nice Car!!

    Hi Donald,

Thank you for the welcome. :beer

    Very nice Buick. :TU:
I check out your car on Buicks.net. I like the colour.

I had a 1968 GS400 that was painted a Black Cherry with a white interior.
It had a 455 cid. engine in it. It was scary fast for the type of car it was in.
Great on straight aways, but very scary when going fast when cornering.
I will try and email you a picture once I fine my photo album.

    Have a great day.
    Thanks again,
    Bert

Do you know more about the N25 bumper ? was it a one-year option ? Does any A-body except wagon (Special,Special Deluxe,Skylark,Skylark custom,GS,GSX) could get it ? I saw the 71 blue/black "GXS" on e-bay have it also .. actually it's a 43337 car (Skylark)

    Thank you

    Hi Donald,

I'm sure (I could be wrong) that the N25 option was an option only available for 1971 to 1972 model years that came with the GS package. That packaged came with daul exhaust and then you could pay extra to have the chrome tips.
That option on my original bill of sale was only $ 31.55 Cdn.
I'm sure a Skylark never came with N25 exhaust unless it was installed after.
    Hope I answered your questions.
Please email me if you have any more.
    Thanks, Bert

There is a Board member that converts 70 bumpers to N25. I suspect he would do other years. Yes it was a 71 and 72 option.
