Response from Monzaz .YES there was early and late carrier bearing 1966 late and through to 1970 had all the same larger driver side carrier bearing and race. (25590 and 25523 ) x1 (LM603049 and LM603012 ) x1 The early carrier version had the same size 3.062 saddle diameter bearing (LM603049 and LM603012 ) x2 Thank you Jim

(25590 and 25523 ) x1 (LM603049 and LM603012 ) x1 The early carrier version had the same size 3.062 saddle diameter bearing (LM603049 and LM603012 ) x2' so if you have a same bearing carrier 1966 early it will only fit early 1966 case. it will not fit 1966 late or 1967 -1970 9 3/8" case. hope that helps. same thing backwards you can not fir the different size carrier bearing carrier into a early 66 housing.
