By the way Nick,any flex plate that has no grinding marks is as good as a new one.Maybe if the quality of the aftermaket is not up to par,you are better off with a good used one.Thats why on my 9-12 sec race car I use Buick intake bolts.BrunoD.
Sorry bout that.Flexplate for TH 350.Good used is fine.I think whenever they rebuilt my tranny a few years ago they put a used flexplate in.Since then I seem to go through a starter every 2-3 years.Checked to make sure everything was lined up right and it looks good but I think the teeth are finally wearing down after all the yaers.This was my daily driver for a long time.
