looking for a set of 29 - 30" x 10 - 10.5 X 15's . Must have some life left in them with no dry rot in the sidewalls.
What about a nice set of Drag Radios ? The are Mickey Thomson 295/65R-15 They hook just as hard as any slick I have run and did a 1.51 60-foot.
Hadn't given any thought to radials. Are the heights and widths the same as what Im looking for? This car is running a 4.56 gear. tall for the 455 but works well for the 1/8 mile brackets I've been running. With the shorter tire (28") my 60's are close to the same but lose .10- .20 and 5 mph at the top end. Check out the tach and where the car shifts in this vid. Goes through the trap at 5200. They are a little bigger than what you have in mind. They are measured differently than racing slicks. Going by memory, they are 31" tall and have a section of 12.5" I think. I am only running 3.90 gears in the 12-bolt
