I am looking for this 7 blade fan in good shape. It is common to all 70 350 cars with AC and maybe 68--69 as well?

If no one else helps you remind me and I will look next weekend. I have a number that may be correct. 18"?

Jim, Thanks. i believe this is correct 7 blade for a 70 as it matches the drawing in the assembly mnaual. I sold the one in the picture a while back and now I kick myself.

The one you have pictured is not the one Dave needs.

The one he is looking for will have 7 equally spaced blades.

Duane, the one he shows looks the same as the diagram in the assembly manual which is no evenly spaced either? The one I showed came of a 70. Assembly manual says same for 350 and 455 on A body.

    Dave,
70 was evenly spaced and has 7 blades, and for the A-bodies I believe is 18"

71-72 is not evenly spaced and has 5 blades, and also think it is 20"

If you don't believe me feel free to buy what you want. Other then appearance, if it is the right diameter it will probably work.

I believe you but I am stumpped as the one I showed came from a 70. The fans I have for my 71 have a dramatic difference in spacing like you mentioned.

Dave, sometimes you absolutely amaze me..................
The one you showed is the correct one.

The one that was offered for sale is incorrect, with un-even spacing.:spank: :spank:

I am going to give up on this soon.

Dave, I may also have one. I know it came from my car- a '70 Skylark, 350 car with AC.

If Don can't come up with the one he mentioned, send me a PM.

Looks like BOTH shown in the pics (Dave's pic at the top and the fan shown by Shaggyfinisher) have uneven spacing:Do No:

As well as the one on Jim's car in the link/photo posted by Dave.

Aren't they all the same fans?? (possibly appear different due to angle of pics, some being painted new, etc).

I looked at mine and it is 18" 7 blade with 3 spaces about 1" and the 3 spaces about 1/2" and 1 smaller. The blades look like the're equally spaced if you clance at it. I'll take my camera tomorrow and post up a pic. It came off of a 70 GS 350 w/air.
