Like the title says, looking to Trade my Red 66 Convertible Top Boot for a Black One

The top boot I have is in very nice condition. no rips, tears, blemishes, etc. Has seen very little use, mostly just sat in the trunk

I'd sell it outright but prefer a trade for a black one in similar condition

Hey Mapearso... SOMEWHERE... I have an original, factory dated '67 BLACK vert top BOOT... appears to be almost new looking. no rips, runs or errors... ooops. sorry, baseball jargon..

This things appears to have been in storage for many years and is in real nice condition! I've had it for many years myself and I dont even own a 66/67 anything... :Dou:

ONLY QUESTION I have is... is this correct for a Lark/GS?? I just dont know for sure.... one pix I tried to show a 1 67 printed date code... but you check these pix out and tell me, K?

Looks just like the one on my 67 wildcat. I'm out on vacation for the week, but when I return home this weekend I will take some measurements and see if we can compare them ...

64-67 A-body boots should have the clips not snaps.

For years the plastic clips with the metal retainers were not available, so the companies sold new boots with the snaps installed plus a set of studs to drill into the chrome moldings.

Often the owners would go to trim shops and retrofit original top boots with snaps & studs because the clips broke.

This is the reason the 64-67 chrome strips "without holes" were pretty hard to find.
