This is a request for a 1970 Skylark GS. I am looking for someone who has a set of these to sell or that I could borrow to have a set made. There is a set on ebay right now but, I don't want to play the bidding war on something like this if I can avoid it. Thank you.
Try posting in the parts wanted forum. http://www.v8buick.com/forumdisplay.php?f=47 FYI... the crossbars came on all Skylark or GS convertibles and all GS350 or GS455 cars. Also, the 1970 bars were straight, the '71-'72 bars had a hump to clear the A/C dryer. I beleive Mike Garrison is reproducing the '70 versions. Good luck.
Guys, I haven't been making the bars in a while. It seems that I would have to have about 50 or so orders to make it worth spending $'s on the tooling again. They can only make about 100 before the die is finished.
