I'm putting a 350 SBB into a 1975 Chevy nova, and looking for the frame pads.

    Thanks

We have 350 frame pads out of a '71 Skylark, if they will help you.

Should be the same ones from a 68-72 Skylark.

If those are the ones you need,I have them. That would be the stock 350 frame mounds.BrunoD.

ummm I think I need them only out of of a 77-79 buick skylark/apollo, whatever came with a 350 SBB..

I'm new to all of this but the info I've received appears that I need specific X-body frame pads to work with my Nova.

Still looking for some frame pads... if anyone knows of some that I can use to fit a 1973 SBB 350 into a 1975 Nova with a former inline 250, would be great.

Just get the chassis mounts. For a '73 to '79 Apollo/Skylark. They should be available thru the aftermarket.(Anchor Industries or at least TA. Performance)

He needs the frame pads that bolt to the frame....73-74 Buick Apollo will have them. I don't know if the 75-79 Skylarks had them or if the ones from the 231 V6 will work for the 350

    NJBuickRacer I'd rather be racing...

The earlier x-body frame mounts are far different from an a-body. They have a bracket that bolts to the LCA bolt. The frames changed on the 75-79 x-bodies, I am not sure if the 73-74 ones will work. The 231 V6 frame mounts will work if you use the V6 engine side mounts as well, the V6 engine side mounts will bolt to the 350 Buick engine but are a softer compound of rubber.

Some pics of the 73-74 Apollo frame mounts:

Any recommendation on what I should personally go with? The motor mounts are still bolted onto the block,it's just the block came out of a 1973 so that's where my problem lies.

everywhere i've read says the x body varies pre 74 and post 75, so it would have been a straight shot had it been a 74, but since it's a 75 i have to find the new pads.

im just not familiar enough to know exactly what to go with.
