    John Bobbitt got his put back in place with surgery, if I remember correctly.

    Sorry about the lack of information. I figured the problem out. I own a 1966
    skylark convertible I just installed a 455 motor with a th400. The x member would not line up with the trans mount. I realized that the mtgs. have to be cut off and moved back. Thanks for your reply.
