well I spent some time trolling here before I signed up, seems to be a somewhat friendly site and a great info source. I personally have no buick, unfortunately. I'm here because a friend of mine has a '64 Wildcat...that thing is AWESOME! Anyway, he has little mechanical experience and I like to learn as much as I can about different cars and the groups that are loyal to them. I would consider myself a car nut, yes, I am partially crazy.
I've got a '56 Chevy 210 4 door sedan that I swapped an 86 camaro TPI 305/700r-4 into my 8th grade year, tore the engine down and rebuilt it, with a rear end swap shortly following due to heavy loading of the right foot on a 50 year old rear end designed for 1/2 the torque; unfortunately my brother put bucket seats in it and I made the center console and A/C setup, it looks nice but the ladies have to sit so far away.
I also have a '62 Nova that is sitting in the grass waiting for my time and money, I have big plans for that hing that involve a turbocharger, new engine technology three pedals and a rowing handle...and road race/autocross suspension, I hate pro-street novas.
My vehicle that is the least toy like is still a hobby, it's a little 6 cylinder 4x4 truck that delivers 680ft-lbs tq. Oh, it's a 96 Cummins turbo-diesel and I may or may not have a screw turned here, plate slid there and a bigger turbo running 42psi boost :3gears: .
Last but not least is my 97 GSX-r750, for those that don't know it's a suzuki crotch-rocket. as far as bikes go it's not the quickest and barely compares to the new 600s but crap dang is it fast!

Oh yeah my job is an aircraft mechanic. I have my A&P and I work for my dad, we've got a couple guys on with us and we run a couple service trucks around doing maintenance and upgrades on million dollar crop-dusters. Well, most of them are 1/2 a million but the biggest are a full million new and we've got several customers with those ones. A lot of guys are starting to get into Bell 206 turbine helos also.

So there, that's me, if you made it through this far I congratulate you on spending as much time on the computer as I do. maybe that's not a good thing. I have yet to find out.

    Welcome

    Greasel,

Welcome to the page ! I just signed up myself and this place is the best ! I warn you though, you'll be turned onto Buicks after a full day of browsing ! I used to be a full blown Chevy guy (64 Impala SS project) until I sold my Impala and bought my 1968 Convertible Lark. Once I browsed this site and learned that parts are not THAT Hard to find, I was Hooked like a crack fiend.

Plus, you're from Cali :TU: haven't seen much Cali guys here. Doesn't really matter cause everyone here is like family :beer !
