This hood tach has a polycarbonate shell which won't crack, chip, break or warp. The bezel is concours-quality reproduction; lens is glass like the original. Face of the tach is painted with galvanized metal paint and the numbers and redline (5,000 rpm for this unit) are colored. Tach is backlit for visibility at night. All internal circuitry is state-of-the-art, and is calibrated to within 150 rpm over the entire sweep. Instructions are included for mounting purposes.
In line but need a couple pics please. I had a year one tach from late 90's or so. Needle always stuck among other things. Yours sounds like different construction. Need a pic of underside with measurements if possible. Just want to make sure it fits my hood holes that are already drilled. thanks. Forms of payment? chris
so it looks like the mounting studs are 4 1/4 center to center I am going to attempt some pict ures right now
