Hey guys, new to the site, hoping to meet other Buick nuts like myself. recently bought a 66 Skylark Sport coupe, 300 V8, ST300. Im hoping to learn helpful info about my car, and maybe help out others with my knowledge too. Ive had many old buicks over the years, I bought this particular car because it reminded me of my 66 Special I had in HS (30+ yrs ago).

    Welcome
There are quite a few Buick guys up here in the northwest. In fact there are two Buick car clubs in Seattle area.
And a all Buick show in Puyallup each year

No Swap Meet at the Puyallup event, and unfortunately the big swap meets (other than Portland) usually have very little by way of Buick parts.

I am in the "South" end Buick chapter and we meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month (tonight) at the Black Bear Diner in Federal Way. Meeting starts at 7, but many folks arrive at 6 and have dinner and chat beforehand.

The "North" end chapter meets on 1/27 at the Golden Corral in Marysville, meeting starts at 7:30, dinner at 6:30.

You are more than welcome to attend either or both of these meetings!

Your best bet is probably to place a parts wanted ad here on this site.

Is that your ad on Seattle CL right now for 66 Parts Wanted?

There was a gentleman in Toledo WA who had some rusty Buicks he was parting out, including a 66 Skylark with a 340, not sure if he still has it or not. His name is Chuck - 425-508-3545.

Welcome aboard. Always nice to see another '66 show up on here!

As Chris said, post what you need in the Parts Wanted section. Would recommend that you get a '66 Buick Chassis manual and the '66 Fisher Body manual as they sure come in handy when you start working on it.

Thank you all for the warm welcome... Chris, yes that is my 66 in the wanted section, I just bought it off craigslist a week or so ago, it was one of those just have to have it cars, well, for me anyway since it takes me back to my youth. Thanks for the heads up on the one in toledo, I will call him in the morning and see what it is exactly and what he wants for it.
