Where can I find a yoke for a TH-375? I keep getting the larger yoke when I order one. This transmission came out of a 69' Riviera and I think it has 32 splines. Thanks.

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Big cars up to 75 (I think) with a 350 motor used this tranny. Hope that helps a bit.

Your '69 Riviera should originally have come with a TH400 transmission, but with the car's two-piece driveline, you need a hard-to-find yoke that uses the typical TH400 output shaft configuration, but is shorter and of smaller outside diameter than the usual TH400 yoke for a single piece driveline.

The TH375 yoke is the same as a TH350 yoke, and won't work if your car still has the original TH400 in it. You will have to seek out a yoke from a late '60's Wildcat/Electra/Riviera that used a two-piece driveline. No new ones are available that I know of.

:gp: my 70 rivi has a factory th400... with the odd ball short yoke for 2 piece drive shaft... i just rebuilt the trans a couple years ago, and remember it well... a th375 and th350 use the same yoke.... but i don't know if there is a short 2 piece drive shaft kinda yoke as i have never seen one... and i have had more than a dozen th350s.... if you are going to run a th375 with the original 2 piece drive shaft you may get away with standard 350 yoke (bottomed out most likely) as the whole trans is about an inch shorter than the th400.... i'm sure someone on here knows better than me if this works.

just my 2 cents... hope it helps

If I remember right, the 375 has the same output shaft as the 400,all you have to do is change the rear tail shaft cover with the regular 400,which ,as you found out,is larger and use the yoke that you have been getting. The way to find out is to take the tail shaft cover out and use the yoke you have and if it fit's,your problem is solved.BrunoD.

Unfortunately if it is a TH375, it uses the 27 spline output shaft design and extension housing diameter as the TH350.

If the trans in his '69 has 32 splines, it's probably the original trans that needs the funky small diameter TH400 yoke.

I used a Trans, TH400, out of my Riv parts car for the Skylark and had to swap the tail piece. No problems after that.
