Hi, im a 22 year old trying to get as much info and experience with my 64 riv that i have. My dad bouaght it about 9 years ago for $900 and it ran well with a slight knock, then we attempted to rebuild the engine but lost intrest and moved onto other projects. Now that i have gotten older i wanted to get back to the Riviera and get it the way i want. I recently acquired another 425 block froma close friend out of a 66 riv by which ive heard is basically the same as what came out of my 64 rivy. But im just looking forward to gaining knowledge a new e-buddies that i can count on, im in the process of looking for a rebuild kit for this engine i thought about forged but the price was steep. What i want to accomplish is just to have nice tourque and the power on the high end when im cruising on the high way. Any suggestions will greatly help me in my decisions to get my rivy running the way i want it. Thanks ahead of time and i hope to be good friends with everyone:3gears:
