we would prob get along. I listen to old country however and few rap songs its more like old stuff or alternative rap. new country makes me want to punch children and the jiggy 2 chains rap stuff is terrible too. I like a lot of metal and hardcore music.
I'm surprised nobody had mentioned Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top. He may not be the best but is right up there and definitely is the coolest! And he is a car guy too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl34aTt4d10
This is Billy Gibbons before ZZ Top:
....and Dusty Hill and Frank Beard were in this band:
A song about the actress Edie Sedgwick <iframe width="854" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5oRwlSIn918" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Always a classic with one of the best guitar riffs of all time. And some eye candy to go along with it...
Tops down and your cruising a back country road and drop in some Iron Butterfly Ina goddavida and just rock out or maybe some Bob Seeger travelin man. Those miles fly by and you've got on heck of a smile on your face :TU:
Dead Confederate, The Rat. I never get sick of Zeppelin or I'm in love with my Car by Queen either. Also Pure Morning by Placebo is catchy when cranked up.
Been grooving on this Boz Scaggs number- Loan Me a Dime (featuring Skydog) https://youtu.be/hx4jieO9H8Y
Hey Joe, Leah is one of my favorites. Donny Iris only had two "hits", if I recall. 'Love is Like a Rock' , which I never cared for, was the other. Speaking of "Hey Joe": The Soulbenders, a local band, here in MI, recorded this version in '67. They won Battle of the Bands and were 5th in the national battle. The song hit number one on the local charts. Aris Hampers is still around and is a local DJ. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/W4I5Ch2jDWI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
