Hey guys, just got word for a few more rooms have become available at the host hotel. If you need a room call the Comfort Inn (410)287-7100 & ask for Lasey and there should be about 12 Queen double & 5 King available. Any problems just PM. Thanks John
Alan Oldfield, who is the president of the BCA, will be flying in from Iowa for the meet so make sure those Buicks are ready to rock & roll.
Greetings! I’ve been busy getting the Regal back together when I noticed that my cage certification has expired. Can anyone tell me how stringent tech inspection will be? It expired in November and I pulled the motor and trans in December, and haven’t gotten it back together yet. I’m not trying to shirk any safety requirements but was just wondering if I really needed to get a re-cert done before Cecil. Any thoughts........
I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Flying to NYC Thursday pm, stay over at Larry's, drive to track early Friday a.m. We head back to N.Y. Sunday am, I fly back to SC Sunday eve.
Wondering if my car will pass their tech. No way the cage would ever cert. However I'll go no where near 8.50. Probably wont get much into the 9's
To date its never made a 1/4 mile pass so I have no idea what it will do. Going to T&T tomorrow night to make a few passes and try out the mods made to the rear suspension. I should have an idea then if it will make the Q16 cut.
Good luck. We are headed to Cecil for the weekend for yellowbullet nationals. Watch on line at motormaniatv.com there will be 3 Buicks running the 10 index. First time out this year for us with new Tomahawk motor.
As stated in my other post She went 10.50 friday night but I hurt the engine on the last pass of the night. Does not look like I'll have it back together in time to go. Wont cancel my reservations until the day prior just in case.
