I watched snowmobile drags in North Bay Ontario on Lake Nippissing way back when, those thing are damn quick!!
If you want to get a feel of how it feels to actually run one of those, watch the above video on 2X speed!
Took it for another spin today down 480. Going to the highway, thru town, the valvetrain was noisey, made my turn towards the freeway, kept going ('bout 35 mph) then silenceā¦.. the lifters got quiet WTH is going on here??? Ran AWESOME on the highway, drove 'bout 6 miles, exited, got back on, its an uphill onramp, floored it, damn this thing flies compared to my old combo, its actually kinds scarey, I hit around 104 mph when the onramp leveled out, every dip in the roadway felt like the car wanted to take off LOL. Heres a vid of going up Rockside Rd. Another uphill run, figure its a good load on the new engine!
That converter is very apparent looking at the tachometer. I'd hook up an Autometer tachometer to compare. My stock tachometer is nowhere near accurate. Be interesting to compare. Sounds good.
you are just dragging this out....lol. get some 4 something gears in it and watch that tach move. like I said time and time again, s/p, ported heads and headers, hang on.
