A 66 with a 67 front clip would be awesome looking imo

I got this email last night in response to my GS Wanted ad, so it sounds like the new buyer is willing to sell, albeit at a small profit, assuming it is the same car:

I have a 1966 Buick GS With the 401 Nail head, Car is a California car and has been in dry storage for the last 29 years. Its a factory AC car, the body is straight and rust free, the car will Run and drive with a little tinkering but sounds like you would do full restore. If you have any interest please call Ron after 5 pm at 360-480-7952 I am located in Olympia I am planning on getting the car running and driving before listing it. We are thinking about $8500 area As i haven't done a lot of research yet. it is a special car..

  6. same car. damn flippers

  7. This guy emailed me today asking if i was interested in the car. he's looking for somewhere around 9k for the car. apparently it's now a running driving car

Couldn't even put some center caps on or even vacuum the carpet,...

We know what he paid probably less than 3k so at 5500 I'd take the money and run, an offer of 4500 would probably get his attention, ..fishing for suckers rite now

At 5k I'd say a fella could have some fun tinker with it and still have room to make a buck or drive the wheels off of it and be ok

  10. if it was a Non A/C car i'd be doing some negotiating with him but between that and the cracked dash pad i don't have any desire to own the car

Figured it would turn up for sale fast. Doesn’t look too bad.

I can't fault a guy for trying to make some money. Isn't that the idea? "Buy low... sell high." "Early bird catches the worm" and all that... :) In the day of the internet its hard for stuff not to be transparent but this stuff has happened for a LONG time. Neat car though. I jones.
