For anyone that wants a racecar, this is a deal. I don't know Frank or the car, but I do know what it takes to build a car like that. It is a deal. I was thinking of offering my 67 for sale, but with his pricing and no one getting serious about it I will forget that. My car is well built with back-half and chrome-moly cage that will cert. to 8.50 but I will not sell it for that money. Good luck Frank, you are worrying me. Jim, Thanks for the kind words. I plan to race the car until sold or until I finish my T/A chuck of aluminum.. Then the sparks will fly and morph this car into a full tube chromoly chassis beast.. Ok I'm back to earth... Lol to the top fellas! ---------- Post added at 06:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:25 AM ---------- Jay, I guess even God takes a couples day off.. Lol thanks bud.
I see SUN and BLUE skies!! Interested buyers who want to see the car in person.. I will be dusting it off to race Sunday at English town, NJ for the Buick Q16. Take a drive stop by and say hello.. TTT
Frank, Does it still have the vin in the factory spot up on top of the dash? It would look great parked next to mine, the color sure looks close.
Chris, Yes the factory dash hasn't been touched. It's a early (pointed lenses) 70 GS 455 Vin 44637 and a clean North Carolina Title. It would awesome in the great white north. I have a stage2 fiberglass pin on hood that you could paint and it would be really close.. I added more pictures to my link. You can really see the color it was beautiful day.. http://s789.photobucket.com/user/cellguy169/library/Blue Buick
Fellas.. Let's not fight over it..lol Thanks Herb. People were saying at E-town they couldn't believe it either that it hadn't sold yet. I'm not worried i'll race till it does and I have a lot of interest from people off the website and outside the U.S. Jay, you working on commission? lol Jay, spent some time chatting with Tuna yesterday at E-town had a blast.. After John Csordas straighten out my timing issue (thank you John) the car had a personal best run 10.10 @129.92 (002 light) It was hot..The car kept getting faster and faster round after round. Till I saw red -005 against a turbo regal.ou:
Frank, I am not ignoring you, the little wheels are spinning in my head. I one ear my son is saying how it would look great lined up next to my other blue car but in the other I hear I will kill you in your sleep and I say sooner or later we are all worm food! Does it have the new sticker on it?
Chris, Yes I got the cage NHRA 8.50 certified in March of 2013. So you got at least 2 years and 9 months left..
Frank, what the h___?o No: We didn't get the 9:99 pass yet. All I needed was one more day at the track.:Brow:
