Here are some old photos of my 1970 GS 350, started the project in 09 and finally got it painted yesterday. Here are some earlier pics. I didn't know alot about cars but am in construction so alot of skills crossed over, lots of trial and error and error etc. I bought the Buick as I could either have a PHD in video games or learn some useful skills instead.
    Enjoy

Paint went down yesterday - Atomic Orange Metallic & Pearl originally it was burnished saddle. The paint looks good, in the sunlight it even looks better. Just needs to be color sanded and buffed then all the trim and parts put back on.

I am Nor Cal, Sacramento. But about to move back to Australia. Will be taking the car with me hopefully. Thanks - the color turned out nice. I went back and forth between going stock or something different. But finally decided on being a little loud :bglasses:

That's a beautiful color, I've been seriously considering that one for mine if I ever repaint it. My van is painted in metallic orange as well.

Interesting... Black GSX stripes with Black pinstripes (instead of correct Red pinstripes)... I like it!:TU:

I prefer the hoodscoops to be Black, not body color, though!:Smarty:

    Beautiful car, overall, though!:beers2:

What wheel and tire combo is that? Size of wheels, backspace etc.. Really gonna set that orange off with those chrome wheels.:TU:

Yes I have done most of the work except for the paint and a transmission rebuild. I did all the body work, new springs and shocks, engine removal, interior refit etc. I probably have as half as many hours into internet research as I do into the car.

The wheels took a while to figure out before I found the right look. They are Coy C5's 18x8 and 18x9.5, Toyo tires, backspacing is almost always halfway so 4" and 5.5".

Yes the black hood stripe breaks up the orange. Didn't know about the GSX striping - but they look good :)

Thanks again for the compliments, I am glad to finally be on the last lap. It has taken 2.5 years and I have always attempted to do an hour a day or more. There is a guy nearby who has a 40's chevy since 75 and is still not ready to paint.
