Wayne paid a lot of money for the micro film and I dont think he would be willing to give that information up unless he gets paid for it.
Is it your belief Wayne has not made his money back after 20+ year and $100+ a report? Additionally, no one is asking to impact his business only to collect data from the microfilm on the details of specific cars options. If he is concerned about the business he could have the data collection person sign an NDA or an agreement once the details are provided to eliminate the VIN numbers from the data. I am not Wayne and I am not speaking for his motivations or reasonings. He can speak for himself. I am only offering to invest the time if given the opportunity.
