I guess it's true "you can't tell the players without a score card"

I believe this car sold today
    for $37,500.

  6. I didn't see the auction, was it disclosed it had an engine change?

Not on TV. It was on right after a commercial break and you basically just got to see what it went for and that's it.

Personally, I can't stand the TV coverage. I'd rather see/hear the actual auction so I watch it in line. No commercials and no annoying announcers.

The mecum announcers are super annoying and get their facts wrong all the time. Barrett Jackson does much better with Steve Mignante or however you spell his name, but he's also the only one on that show that has a clue. He's actually 99% accurate but I'd still rather not listen to them. I don't have a computer, though, I'm doing this on my phone and my eyes would hate me watching the phone for that long, and I'd be one of "those guys" on their phone all the time haha.

I think I've only ever watched it on my phone...I may be "one of those guys"

Hmmm. Circa 1984 I advertised parting out a '71 GS455 in the Pittsburgh paper. One day a fellow arrived at the house in a 1971 Bittersweet, black vinyl top, black bench base interior, auto on the column, 350 CI GSX. It was correct and original at the time and he bought a power window set up from me that day and possibly an N-25 or maybe it had N-25. Possibly the black car from the northside after a repaint? I never saw it again but someone told me it went to Europe. Ever see my old lime 69 S1 on the northside back then?

This sounds even crazier~ a woman came on here from Kentucky a few years back. She and her husband had just bought a project GS, and were seeking advice. When the conversation grew she shared she was from Pittsburgh originally and her Father had a black '71 in the 80's and put a picture on here. Anyone have the thread or picture? Seems like the car had at least the rr spoiler...
