1 of 6 is too rare to change the configuration in my opinion. It should be purchased for what it represents.

Anyone ever see if this is actually a 3 spd stick. I have seen several ads for vehicles that say 3 spd when the car is a automatic. Probably from older sellers that remember 2 spd automatic cars :)

    John,
you must have missed post seven as this was from him.

    His reply.

"In 1971, the GS model I have came with "350" on the Air Filter and means 350 HP. It also has "ram air injection" which sucks extra gas into the rochester 4 barrell carbureator when the gas pedal is "floored. It was the standard V-8 engine. very unusually, it came with a 3 speed shift on the "Tree" [stearing column] and has a clutch to operate the "H" configuration - reverse being the 4th gear."

Yes I did. Thanks for the clarification I reread that post and I admit I stopped reading it after the 350HP and the injection statement :)

I agree that you leave a 1 in 6 car alone....and that doesn't even factor in color.

I'm sure even with only looking at the main things (paint, top color, interior color) you're probably already at 1 of 1....
