This car is perfect in every way. Has been in climate controlled storage since completion. Bittersweet mist, white top, white interior. Automatic, power steering, power disc brakes, bench seat, power windows and am/fm. GM Canada documentation. Original matching numbers drivetrain. It was a cover/feature car for Hemming's Muscle Machine. Beautiful 2000+ hr resto by GS Autobody. Everything new, nos or rebuilt/replated. Scored 996/1000 at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nat's. Voted best Buick in show. Nicest, best documented 71 stage 1 vert in the country. $179,000. If you are interested I have a cd copy of the magazine photo shoot. Thanks for looking. Wow, what a beautiful car. GLWS. I have that pic saved on my phone - it's the inspiration to finish my '71 vert. I hope you don't mind that I posted it (I can delete if so).

I hope you get every penny of 179k ! I'm in the middle of my own '72 stage 1 convert. restoration.
    Honestly, if wasn't a car I've always coveted (and a 4-speed) I would not have bothered !
These cars are very expensive to restore, correct quality parts are difficult to find and sometimes grossly overpriced.
I'm thankful for this forum , its been very helpful and encouraging .
Good luck with your sale ! It would be wonderful to see a "71-"72 stage 1 convert break the 150k barrier..
I passed on a nice 1970 stage1 convert. 15 years ago and I'm still kicking myself in butt over it.
Life's short, If you really want a quality Stage 1 ,buy the best , you wont regret it and you wont have to restore it !
I sure wish bought the 1970 15 years ago !
    Regards to all.

Bob,best of the best ,why selling???, if U go the auction route mecum indy is coming up RESERVE AUCTION ,,to bad the 71-72 do not get the RESPECT or $$$ as the 70 model,,,to get over six fig ,,U may have to auction format or wait for the right DUDE,to command that coin it will be a investor looking to add a STAGE VERT to his collection of other makes/models,a non buick only collector but thats IMO,overseas sale a real possibility for top $$ best wishes for getting what U want and deserve ..................
