    Bob your car is over the top People are gonna think I'm crazy it's time for the 71 and 72's to break the bank I hope you get 200 K for your stunning bittersweet mist stage one convertible.

    “Over the top” is the way Mike Tomaszewski described Keith, Duane and Corey’s work to me, both in restorations and engine builds. I saw this car in the final stages of restoration, and it is stunning! Keith recently told me that it likely would be impossible to take a 71 to this level ever again because the parts just don’t exist anymore. They dug deep into their stash of NOS parts for this build, and it shows. There certainly aren’t too many 71 Stage 1 convertibles around anymore either. Good luck with the sale, Bob!

    We all know 71's lack Roberts/Sloan documentation or any significant vin info. Fortunately GM Canada kept great records. Just a handful of 71 stage 1 verts survive with their build sheets. Hard to put a value on it, but in my mind it should bring at least 1970 money and then some. Thanks for your post.
