For sale is my 72 stage-1 convertible Zone car. All numbers matching. I believe this is the lowest body number zone car known as info collected today. This car has had a complete nut & bolt rotisserie restoration. This car has Not had or needed any rust repair. Many NOS parts have been used for restoration. All legendary interior and new top. The engine and trans has been rebuilt. The engine has many upgrades that you do not see, arp bolts, forged pistons, smoothed rods, balanced, port matched, high flow valves, pac springs, PC seals, true roller, ported timing cover, balanced pump, AMP upgrades, messaged ceramic coated original exhaust manifolds and so much more. The stage-1 carb was rebuilt & replated like new. Original power brake booster was replated and the master was rebuilt using stainless sleeve, as were the calipers. Full stainless exhaust with original N25 tips. All brake and fuel lines are stainless. Just too much to type it all. Original T3 headlights. Radio and all speakers have been rebuilt. The radio was upgraded to use a 1/8 plug for Aux play. Calf car until I had it shipped to me. Some changes I have made. Tach, Original 72 GM in place of 24 Hr clock AM/FM in place of AM NOS boxed rear lower control arms & sway bar • The first 25 Stage 1 convertibles, built in August of ’71, were sent directly to the Buick Zone Offices across the USA. • All 25 Zone Office cars were painted Flame Orange (trim tag paint code 65, code Z on the order form), with a white convertible top (trim tag code A, code 1 on the order form), and a white bench seat interior (trim tag code 135 A65, code 245 on the order form). • All 25 Zone Office cars were built with the exact same list of options: Stage 1 performance option, turbo hydra‐matic 400 transmission, power disc brakes, power steering‐fast variable ratio, sonomatic radio (AM), stereo tape player, rear speaker, through bumper exhaust extensions, super wide oval group (G60‐15 tires with 15x7 chrome road wheels), air conditioner, color coordinated custom front & rear seat belts, soft‐ray tinted windshield, front and rear bumper guards, bumper strips front & rear, outside rear view sport mirrors, tilt steering column, convenience group (lighting), instrument gauges with rallye clock, and a rallye steering wheel. What a beauty!!!! I have passed it on to a guy I know is looking …. Only one detail I can spot, missing the color stripes on the hood latch rod…… I had to keep your head from swelling up too big LoL
We'd talked about this car privately before, and its still in the back of my mind. Deciding if I want to sell my 70 Stage and go this direction. Love the pictures! It looks like a stunner.

I took off the edelbrock shocks and installed factory like shocks. I put some of the markings and and tags on. I also cleaned up the jack. .
