Congratulations Nelson (I think - Hope you don't regret). It's going to a good home. I'm hoping to get to see it in a few weeks.
I believe it went to a person that will appreciate all the hard work that went into it, especially all the engine modifications and ceramic coating. I unfortunately put a lot of money that is not seen as I had planned to keep the car for a long time. I love the car, a sad day for me. . I hope it brings the greatest pleasure to the new owner. Thank you all for the comments .
Well, brought this one home today. I'd PM'ed Nelson (super nice dude btw for those haven't had the pleasure) probably in April when he mentioned offhand he'd be selling it at some point, and we'd gone back and forth for a while. It took some doing, since I had to sell my 70 Stage (also sold to a member here, though he's not quite as active.) Almost didn't happen probably more than once, but I unloaded the trailer tonight at about 8 oclock. The car is every bit as nice as its represented here. Thanks again Nelson!
Well done. I just got mine back 2 weeks ago from being on display for 25 years to the day. Now to start on the slow process of getting it running again. Sitting for so long is amazingly hard on a car, even when in a climate controlled building.
It was a pleasure meeting Chris and his fiancé. I am happy the car went to someone that will enjoy and take care of it. It is really a great car and deserved to go to a good home as it did. Thank you and happy motoring. Nelson
Holy cow, that’s been 25 YEARS(?!) how is that even possible, I can’t believe it’s been that long. Enjoy the reunion! Steve weim55 Colorado
