I can say that the '87 T-types with the olds 307 V8 didn't have the buldge.

Talked to the guy this AM- NON-TURBO. So, did someone put on a different hood or take off the turbo set-up. Is there a easy way to tell a 4.1 from a 3.8? A web site for these cars has 35 registered turbo 82's. Now see what you started Matt! I was up till midnight researching this! Neat rare Buick and in our backyard to boot.

 

If it would have been a Turbo I would have had to race you to it. Instead we can look at it with buying it.

The cars were supposed to be Regals that were taken to an outside vendor for conversion.

My question is there a way to tell a Regal T-Type from the VIN?

I talked to Kim this past Sat. 7/12/14. She still has the Turbo 82 GN and her Dad's 87 GN (her dad is no longer with us) She found some replacement wheels and her husband had them restored.
