I don't know how anyone can say these cars aren't worthy of the GTO name. Awesome.

Much better, I especially like the flared rear fenders. Makes it look mean.

The fat fenders and quarters are a HUGE improvement but them 1977 Trans Am exhaust tips have got to go. Looks like a concept show car to me. Time will tell.

    Exactly right.
Nice looking machine but it's nothing more than a concept car at this point.
They love to tease the public. Expect GM to water it down if they do go forward.

The exhaust tips look strange. They seam to just fall out of the sides and stick out funky. Wonder why they didn't run them straight out the back?

What I think is really cool is there going to up the HP to 400 as an option in a couple of months and by the end of the year the 400 hp will be standard.

I like the body change for sure.

Maybe the HP wars are going to start again. There going to start making the Charger again around the end of 2005, The Hemi in it will be 425 HP. :beer In my opinion more HP is better

Boy, that's a helluva improvement! I have a hard time believing it will make it to production like that though, anyone see those rear tires? Those are viper size, and make it pretty expensive to maintain. I don't have a problem with it, but usually a normal 'production car' doesn't recieve tires like that. But boy does that thing look much better than before, they did exactly what they needed to: Keep the overall shape of the car, but give it some "edginess" that takes away from the grand am look. Congrats to GM on finally doing something right, now let's see if they actually build them that way.

No one has said anything but I'm sure someone besides me has noticed it......check out the "389" ram plate under the hood, remember some of the first (real) GTO's had the killed 389 ci in them, GM is stabbin at everything hun.....sounds like a desperate plug by GM.
