Anyone have a set of 15" 5 on 5 slots 10" or 12" wide for a nostalgic Henry J that will be there? if you can help us find an old set it would be great.

Looks to be a fantastic event and my first at a FAST event. I'll be spectating and have real respect as I grew up with these cars and to see them run like you guys do its AWSOME !

So, would the '64 be in "Muscle Car Eliminator" or in F.A.S.T.?

Is the "Muscle Car Eliminator" a heads up or bracket race.

Does "Muscle Car Eliminator" use P/S rules or is it more lax?

    :Do No:

Go ahead and sign up under FAST for the '64. The Musclecar Eliminator is going to be a bracket race with slicks, headers, and everything else. Steve and I are in charge of the FAST group and it sounds like we will have enough FAST for their own quick 8. We will run a seperate grouping of P/S guys so we will be our own world. If you feel like running against a FAST guy in qualifying, we will have no problems with that.

So in short, sign up for FAST!! Also, if you preregister, make your way down on Friday afternoon and you can get you stuff parked at the racetrack and get teched on Friday night. Just an option.:Brow:

Well then the Muscle Eliminator would be just another name for Pro Et.
I'm very dissipointed, I was getting my '73 Gran Sport 455 ready for this event.

You are right. They broke down PRO into two classes, Hot Rod for 58 and older and front engine cars, Musclecar Eliminator for 59-74. No Super Pro at the race and no electronics. Super guys can show up, just have to unplug the blinking stuff.

'73 GS-- can you run in F/S or FAST? Here are the rules http://www.fastraces.org/members/fastraces/fastraces.nsf/top-menu-items/ghp22 The more the merrier!!!:3gears:

With the other classes to choose from and not having a F.A.S.T. class prepped car I think I'd mix it up and run nostalgia super stock.

Hmmmm, the '64 with Ansen Sprints on the front, steel wheels and slicks on the back, plop in an automatic, take out the interior, take off the exhaust and put some period correct magnetic decals on it.

    Wouldn't run 11's but what a hoot.:TU:

If you can't run in the 11's, then you're not legal in NSS. Soooo, looks like you'll be running in the Factory Stock/FAST class with us! :TU:

Brian, bring the Merc and enter in FAST/FS with us. If you still have the urge to go faster, we can probably just un-bolt one or two thousand pounds of chrome, till you hit the 11 sec. range:Brow:

Soooo, I guess I'll have to turn up the wick for 11's

'Cause in F.A.S.T. my car would look good.....but never really be in the running.

    Brain,

Let me spell it out for you.... We will have a FAST class and a F/S class at St. Louis. All you will have to worry about is laying a whoopin' on me and the rest of your Pure Stock/ Factory Stock buddies. FAST will be racin' their own!!!!

Okay, now that we have that straight. Are you bringing bringing Timmy and Rhonda with you or are you going to caravan with Dave???:Dou:

Could you type it a little slower?.........I still don't get it.:Do No:

Is Roland Leong running a Hemi car?

My neighbors only allow me to go to two races a year....I'm not sure I can make it.

Will Dave H be paired against someone else with no pants...or will he be paired with someone from Top Eliminator?

For the answers to your questions:

I will try to write slower....

    No, just watching!!!!

If I was your neighbor, I would encourage you to go to more races. You out of the house= quiet weekends!!!!:Brow:

I can see it now--- Dave H. Nopants!!! He may not be SpongeBob, but a Rallye 350 would do him good! I will do everything I can to not get matched up with Dave!!:moonu: :moonu:

Here is a link for the event www.musclecarreunion.com The FAST/ FS will be a small part of the goings on here. Last year at Kansas City, the first event these guys did, had close to 400 cars. The stands were filled and 4 deep along the fence! Last time I checked, I am estimating over 20 cars in our little class. It could be more, but that is a number that are talking of making the trek that I have communicated with. It should be a great time with the nostalgia funny cars and gassers running down the track.

There is also a car show for all of those that are certain that their cars can outrun our cars.

that is a cool t-shirt design. I'm in the process of registering now. Hope to have it finalized next week. Trying to see if I'm traveling solo or not.

I've also floated the idea by a buddy who has family in St. Louis. I'll keep after him and see if he brings his 68 GTO for FS
