Give me a break Big Dog!

Helen Keller could tell if a 727 has 904 internals. You can tell the difference in size between a Dime and a Quarter can't you?

That's easy...... On race day, just try to win 2 races out of 3 (shootout) ,for which your car is paired against.

I don't know why the event organizers don't just weigh the cars
and every body run the same fuel.. Pure stock cars should
be able to run on 107 octane and if the car is to lite it needs
weight added... All lights, windows, etc should be in working order..
I think that is the easy way than taking apart cars at the track and
working your ass off in the heat when you could be eating, drinking
    and having fun for nothing..
But what do i know i never cheated at anything but dieting and i
    always feel guilty..
Might be time for all you cheaters to come out of the closet
and run in the class where you belong..

Weigh them all less driver, pure stock and FAST !!!, and make them all weigh within 1% of their factory shipping weight after each pass. Simple enough.

Then just fully enforce the rules that are already in place, and dont leave anyone out no matter how popular they are. Shocks, tie rods, fuel pumps, batteries, lights, bump steer, idle quality, two steps, carbs, alternators etc. dont give anyone a pass on anything reguardless of excuse.

Maybe throw in a 50 mile mandatory drive once in a while. :idea2:

    Problem solved.

This thread is sounding less like heavy tech questions and more like F.A.S.Trecruitment.

Anybody else get tired of going over this again and again? Seems like there is a simple solution.

    What would that be??
Have people bring Pure Stock cars to the Pure Stock Drags, or make it a F.A.S.T. race??

Exactly, just follow the rules. There shouldn't be any need for tech at all, other than for safety.

Boy Steve, you sure hit the nail on the head in that statement. I was thinking the same thing the other day while cutting my grass and rocking to Van Halen through my head phones. Look at all the time, energy & $$$$$$ that's wasted trying to keep a small minority in check complying with the rules. When we could be using that energy towards new creative idea's on making the race a better event. I think the term/lyric comfortably numb just about describes how Dan and myself feel right now. The majority keeps us going but I don't know how much longer we can continue like this.
