Yeah, but only a few hours from the French quarter and the Mardi Gras. It all balances out. :)

Yes it is still on. The mailer went to a service for postage. I adviseed Greg as to that fact no one had it yet. Needless to say he is extremely unhappy and finding out what happened.

To restate, yes tha race is still on, the dates and hotel info are on the sticky. I will post track times there too.

Sorry For Outing You, To Soon?

I did not mean to spoil your fun so quickly, my mistake.

I will be matching up with you next year on the Ford program. I do not think it will be ready by the fall. Plus I am running the RA IV T/A this time around.

I picked up a micro motored Boss 302 to dance with your 351. I figured it was worth the ridiculous challenge to make it go fast (sort of fast?). My hope is that the 49 fewer cubes can be made up with 400-500 less lbs. the earlier cars carry. This one is a stripper so it was begging to be raced.

I will talk with you when I am back from my wife dragging me across the pond for a wedding this weekend in Amsterdam.

Keep poking at it well I'm gone. :Brow:

    Benoit,

I don't think you've ever had a hard time getting the mph. You just need to make the car stick. Isn't this your 3rd rebuild? Look forward to seeing it go.

As long as we are talking Fords, I am looking for a correct carb for the 429 SCJ

    It's a Holley D1ZF-9510-XA unique to the 429 SCJ with C6......

anyone have any ideas where I might find one ??

I'd try Jerry Dick from PA. He raced a 68-1/2 428CJ he bought new. Played with us at the FSMCDR at both Salem and Norwalk. He seems to keep a good pulse on the Ford stuff.

    Donny,

Strokerboy will be at Kil-Kare with something, including the cardboard. Plan to bring the LS6 - Chevelle if I don't blow it up tonight in the burnout contest at the Sonic in Vidalia, LA.

Rob I am 4 1/2 hours from Memphis.

And Jim youu are correct. 3rd rebuild. This time stripped to bare metal and new paint. Engine bay redetailed, even put the smog pump back on. Probably won't go any faster but I'm going to try to look good doing it. Hope to see you at Kil-Kare
