Duane I am posting the only one ( inner ring) I have to see if it is what the posters need before I release this one to you as the specimen. The reason is that I sent a tracing to a member and he raised a question if it is correct. I pesonally removed it from our GSX so I know it fits a consolette car. I am just guessing that perhaps a no console set up is different. Let me know and I will get it out by Friday. Guard it as it is due to go back it late Oct.
Jim, Thats the consolette boot retaining ring. This is a photo of the floor boot ring. Duane let me know if you need to use this one. Scott
Jim- I believe that is the retaining ring for the consolette. A rare piece indeed, but I think we're looing for the ring that goes around the hole in the floor. Jason
I used to have a picture of my non-consolette ring on this board, but the thread is gone - Damn hackers! My ring is different, and has roughly 7 - 10 screw holes...
Scott I suspected there was confusion over this and you have highlighted it very well. With a consolette there is a pot metal outer ring too that I have not shown.
Jim, No, that is the ring for the upper boot from a console car. What everyone needs is the lower ring, which is the same whether you have a console or not. But you can forget about sending yours anyway, I have a local friend that is sending me his. Duane PS. The one Scott pictured is the one that I am going to make.
