My bracket will interfere with the steering box, too bad, it is a beautiful piece. Try replacing the hex bolt with a button head, button head should be about .040 thinner.

Got some great news for you. I looked at my 67 special 300. Both brackets are identical to the ones in BBB 67 skylark...

If this ^^^was meant for me then yes I am willing to ship the bracket on your dime. Just confirm that this bracket will work in your GS400 car. 6455spd has the same bracket in what looks yo be mint shape and he's probably way closer since I'm up in Canada.
