455 in SL/GS...THROUGH BOLTS..USE TOP OR BOTTOM MM HOLES?

    Ground them off, nicked the top metal lip 20171023_132004.jpg a hair on both. Fit great now.

    How do you rolate pics? I tried to keep last one from being sideways and it's upside down.o_O

    I am glad you figured it out, but unless your putting a stocker in, with exhaust manifolds, you really need to buy new mounts.. Your local auto parts store should be able to get them from a local warehouse, often the same day, and they are less than $15 bucks each.

    New mounts are critical if your installing headers, as old motor mounts tend to sag, causing all kinds of fit issues with headers.

    Any kind of high power engine requires new mounts, breaking an old motor mount is pretty common.

    Thanks Jim, It's a 47k mile SF out of a 70 Estate Wagon that sat for years.
    Everything will be left totally stock.

    I always tack weld a nut to the hole I'm using just like the factory. Saves lots of time and trouble of getting a wrench back there. EZPZ
