WOW ... everyone that owns a 65 Skylark Gran Sport just had the value of their cars go up ... ALOT . Check out the 65 GS on eBay with a Buy It Now at only $39,500.00 and it only has a few problems like wrong air cleaner , seats ( I don't think these are correct ) , antenna on rear quarter , radio , wrong tach , electric cooling fan , and I'm sure some of you will find more . Bottom line is if that car is worth $39,500.00 being a perfect , all numbers matching 65 GS , then your 65 GS is worth $50K . Just making fun but there is no-way that car can be a $39,500.00 ride . Hmmm. I wonder who got a hold of that car AFTER the frame off resto... and did all that crazy stuff to it.. its even missing taillight bars I REALLY like the heater hose that goes down into uh.. the frame rail area? That was actually pretty entertaining.. Thanks!

They just reduced the Buy It Now to $37,500.00 !!! Such a deal and I'll bet someone will jump on that today ... NOT !!! I really wonder what they are thinking ? Just a guess but based on what I see on that car it's a $17 to $19K car at best . But who knows , they say there's a buyer out there for everything regardless of the price . They just lowered reserve on this car this morning . But they must think they have 2 of them based on what their asking . I wonder if this is a car from someone on here ? If so they should know better . Nothing wrong with trying to get as much as you can for a car but at their price it's out of the market .
Mitch, Take a look at the Heater Hose routing. They're hooked together by the heater box. One goes back to the pump and the other goes back to that Ugly T-Stat housing. I also wonder how many big butt's have been on that stretched out drivers seat cover. Hey, i've been to Bremerton a few times. A friend lived on Bainbridge Isle for 30 Years. He just moved to Suquomish, just up the hill from the new pier. PONCH
Re: 65 Gran Sport on eBay / It's back Just relisted today 8/2 at only a $34,500.00 reserve . I'm not trying to be a smart a** but do these people think it could really sell for that price ? In truth I think it's worth about half of that . It's hard to believe how many things are wrong with this piece . Wonder if they did any homework on this ?

It's back on eBay with only a $32,500.00 Buy It Now price . What are these people thinking ? I think based on what I see on that car it's a $17K car and that might be a stretch . Woodward Dream Cruise tonight and tomorrow . Taking my 79 Chrysler 300 to the cruise . Now why would I take the Chrysler ? It has AIR , and it's hot and muggy . Not a Buick but it's one nice ride .
