72 455 Air Pump hose

    It's a tubular brace, probably about 5/8" diameter that has flattened ends, somewhat like the ones used on the the front bumper. It bolts to the back of the A.I.R. pump and bolts onto the base of that pipe on the intake. I think I've got an NOS one laying around here if I can find it. If so I'll take a pic of it.

    if you actually look at the pics i provided,you can see where hes talking about on the back of the pump.
    top rear,is where the brace hes talking about would bolt.
    mine doesnt look like it ever had one on it.

    Steve - I got you covered. Dug out the brace and will add it to the package.

    Here's a pic of the brace and a poor pic of the engine before I removed it all. The brace runs from the back of the pump to the third hole on the manifold port.

    That's the one.
    Not sure why some cars had it and some didn't. If they have the hole for it on the base of the intake pipe, I would think they were meant to get the brace.
