mmm I think I saw that on PIMP MY RIDE...those aren't door lock switches, they are for the mp3gpsdvddvrcdsupertunerpalm with the 56" monitor in the trunk HOOTERS!BEER!-remember, it's always noon somewhere :beer
Not disputing the car's pedigree, but did those squared-off PW and PL switches exist in 72? Maybe replaced since?
72 sun coupe the exterior was stripped to bare metal and re-painted the original color but as far as the interior, it is completely original.
I don't think the exterior is the problem. Unless you could produce factory pictures and documentation of the Bon Jovi interior package I wouldn't bite on it. Nice gag though. :Brow:
OOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOOO-WEE!!! And the ghetto guys think "bling-bling" is something they invented!!!
Can't say I really admire the interior of this car too much! The steering wheel, however, looks like it might be one of those unobtainable Sandalwood models, or very close. Think he'd trade??LOL!
I could do without the disco interior, but the car looks pretty cool from the outside with the wheel centers painted like that, and the polyglass tires!! :TU: :TU: Kevin
:blast: :error: and...... ou: It is different enought to remember.......and stay in your mind................
Man I'm glad the styles have changed. I wander if anyone that thought that was cool still has a job now. I think I will restore my 95 Park Ave with a totally original idea like: Hamburger seat covers and the dash board will be totally covered in cinnamon. I will use 49" tall tires on the left front and right rear only. I will have 8000 watt subs in the trunk and the roof will have a slider on it that will tilt into a solar panel.
To all the pureists out there , you would not want to change this unique Buick would you? After all I was thinking about changing the color on my Stage 1 Suncoupe and the overwelming sentiment was to go as it was delivered ! I think it should have been in a Austin Powers movie . Verry interesting . I am getting a vibe from it . I wish it would show up with documentation at the NATS . jk
Ya know guys, I dont mind saying .........I like it uzzled: Its different. Most likely the main thing that drew me to the trishield in the first place over thirty years ago. If this was sitting next the first GSX I ever saw at Foley Buick where I grew up I would have this burned into the pleasure rececpticle's of my brain as well. Stare at it long enough and you'll start to like it to.........well maybe not, but like I said..its different and thats not such a terrible thing. D.
That was amazing ! Very collectible car even rarest than a COPO , Hemi or Shelby's :Brow: Do you know about the engine , 350-4 ? Or bigger ?
