The car is like a time machine back to 70's style. Remember what came after 72 Skylarks? Opera windows, wire wheels, crushed velour upholstery, fake wood everywhere -- that car was an omen of what was to come in a few years. Anyone remember the custom vans that were popular back then? They took a delivery van, added mag wheels, a wild paint job, wood paneling and velour in the inside and that was the ultimate in cool.
Hey , I used to work for a van shop in 76-77, a place called Trick Trucks in St Charles , Mo. I installed all those mags and velour interiors . we also installed a higher end vynil walls instead of the velour . The wildf and crazy paint jobs and the fun of going to work everyday are still burned in my mind along with a few dead brain cells . I don't like it but it is a piece of Buick history . Maybe a van shop did it for them . History like that is why I would love to see what documentation he has . jk
