To be honest the Riv doesn't get that at ALL, okay, one 10 year old said nice corvette, but that was it. A lot of people actually can name the year (within the boattails 71-73) and I get a lot of thumbs up. What really gets me are the old (65+)women who come up to me. They love the Riv, and hey, that's cool, it seems a lot of people remember the Boattails, but not to disrespect the Skylark/GS guys a boat tail looks like nothing else .
Same here , last summer when I was at a self-service gaz , cashier ask me ... -"Is it for the Chevelle ? " :rant: ou: :laugh:
One day I was driving my 68 Coronet and this guy said nice Superbee how much? I said its a 4 door, he says yes how much? I had to tell him Superbee's and R/T's are only 2 doors.
